About Ignacio Arrua

Born in Argentina and raised in Northern Italy from the age of three, Ignacio Arrua now lives and works in Berlin. He studied audiovisual direction and theatrical performance in Valencia, specializing in directing and post-production. Since then, he has worked as a freelance filmmaker, focusing primarily on music videos and short films, while also exploring projects in the marketing and commercial sphere.

Ignacio’s work is characterized by a realistic visual style, often engaging with the urban environment as a central theme. His films experiment with visual languages, combining narrative depth and aesthetic exploration, even in projects that are purely visual.

Driven by a philosophy of experimenting with visual languages, Ignacio approaches each project with curiosity and a desire to push the boundaries of storytelling through film.
